I have a Ford Mondeo HC 1998 GLX sedan. the dashboard heating vents are not blowing everything else is working including air con. I noticed bits of a fine rubber/latex black film blowing out of the other vents.any thoughts what it could be and what is wrong please?

Posted December 2, 2022. I would say you have a defective tank sender unit. The tank electric fuel pump and instrument sender is a combined unit. If the unit is faulty or the electrical wiring to the unit is damaged then not only will the gauges be all over the place, the fuel pump won't be working. Quote.

Try blocking your key fob from talking to your Mondeo. You can use aluminum foil and put the fob as far from the house as possible.
