well lads i have a tdr 125 and im having some trouble derestricting it. i bought the bike the other day for a bit of craic, as i had a 05 dt 125 a couple of years ago and which was a great bike and appearantly these are the same engine with a different gearbox.

You missed a good deal on pistonheads a week or so ago 2002 model went for £400, it needed work but as with any bike especially a 2 stroke budget in for for things like, a new piston, top end gasket kit, check things like chain/sprockets, brake pad and disc wear and tyres. These will add a large chunk to the overall price of your bike if needed.
A ‘grey area fix’ (your 49cc scooter still looks stock and has a 49cc VIN but is 80cc) is to put a big bore kit on your 49cc, you won’t really go faster but you’ll get to your top speed faster you will definitely feel that. You’ll probably need to tune the carb, I needed to change both jets on a stock 49cc carb.
